May 26 to June 1, 2024 is 

National AccessAbility Week鈥 is an opportunity to celebrate the valuable contributions of Canadians with disabilities. During this week, we also recognize the efforts of individuals, communities and workplaces that work to remove barriers to accessibility and inclusion.

Red Shirt Day ~ Wednesday, May 29th

On Wednesday, May 29, our school board will also be celebrating to show support for persons and families of those who are living with disabilities, celebrate the achievements of people living with disabilities, and to pledge our commitment to help create a fully accessible and inclusive society. On Wednesday, May 29th, our HCDSB community is encouraged to wear red shirts to stand in solidarity for individuals with disabilities!
