Embracing the theme of this year’s Catholic Education Week, “We are Called to Love鈥�, HCDSB is excited to announce the “Fill a School Bus” Food Drive in support of .
This initiative has been planned in partnership with the Halton OECTA Elementary and Secondary Associations, Halton Student Transportation Services, and our local school bus operators.
Food Collection Details
- From May 6-24, 2024, our HCDSB schools and work sites will be collecting non-perishable food items.
- Beginning May 27th, our local school bus operators will collect and deliver the food items directly to the Food4Kids Halton warehouse.
We Need Your Help!
All families and staff who are able to participate are encouraged to send non-perishable food items to their school or work location. Members of the broader HCDSB community who wish to participate may drop off donations at their local school, or at our Catholic Education Centre, located at 802 Drury Lane in Burlington.
Every contribution will go a long way in supporting this food drive!
UPDATE: Community BBQ RESCHEDULED!
Due to unforeseen circumstances, we had to postpone the community BBQ originally scheduled for Saturday, June 8th. We will hold the event in September.
More information about the community BBQ, including an online RSVP form will be shared at a later time.
