The (HCCF) is seeking up to four (4) members to join its Board of Directors!
About the Organization
HCCF is an independent charity that operates in partnership with the 嫩芽视频 (HCDSB).
Through donations and funds raised from various events, HCCF supports students and families in Halton overcome financial barriers to learning.
About the Role
Members must:
- Serve as a committed member of the Board of Directors;
- Provide professional input, advice, and guidance to the Board of Directors;
- Participate fully in decision-making activities;
- Attend and actively participate in Board and committee meetings, as required;
- Promote HCCF events and participate actively, as required;
- Raise the profile of HCCF in the community; and
- Build relationships with businesses and stakeholders.
Qualifications
Qualified candidates should have one or more of the following:
- An understanding of the community with a deep passion for the cause;
- A background in corporate fundraising, finance, business, sales or communications;
- Experience in senior administration;
- An understanding of board-level governance and/or strategic plan fulfilment.
