About the Event

We are expanding the focus of the HCDSB Skilled Trades Career Fair to serve two key purposes:

  • To showcase the value and importance of careers in the skilled trades to students and their families.
  • To attract and recruit current or aspiring Technological Education Teachers, who are vital to the success of our technological education programs at HCDSB!

Who Would Benefit from Attending the HCDSB Skilled Trades Fair?

  • Students currently in Grades 7-12, and their families
  • Current teachers or teacher candidates
  • Individuals already working in the skilled trades who are interested in exploring a career Technological Education

Event Highlights

The HCDSB Skilled Trades Career Fair will: 听

  • Provide students and families with information about apprenticeship programs and diverse career paths in skilled trades.
  • Share information with prospective Technological Education Teachers about career opportunities with HCDSB.
  • Networking opportunities with educational institutions, industry leaders, and professionals in both trades and education.
