Aiden Goss and Santiago Guzman, Grade 12 students at Thomas Aquinas Catholic Secondary School in Oakville,  are celebrating after a successful fundraising challenge for  in Colombia. 

From October 27-29, the students ran an arduous 48 hours overcoming the cold, rain and fatigue, to raise a total of$4,448 for at-risk youth in Colombia!

About the Campaign

 exists to help vulnerable children access education, health, and discipleship in strong communities through the local church.

Tiempo de Paz, Colombia seeks to share the Gospel with at-risk youth and provide a protected space for spiritual, emotional and physical development.  In addition to nutritional and academic support, staff and volunteers also provide training to families to promote healthy family life in an area prone to gangs, drug addiction, and sexual abuse.  Funds raised through 48 Hours of Hope go towards supporting this life-giving work.
