The 嫩芽视频 (HCDSB) is excited to announce that Kindergarten registration for the 2023-2024 school year is now open.
HCDSB offers a full-day, 2-year Kindergarten program, designed to engage curious early learners through various types of play that help children learn how to reason and problem-solve as they interact with one another.

HCDSB offers online Kindergarten registration, making registering your child for school as easy as 1, 2, 3!
What Do I Need to Register my Child?
Parents can upload the required documents directly through the online registration portal.
- Birth Certificate (required for Year 1 and Year 2)
- Year 1 children are required to be 4 years of age on or before December 31, 2023.
- Year 2 children (new to the school) are required to be 5 years of age on or before December 31, 2023.
- Student OR Parent Roman or Eastern Rite Catholic baptismal certificate
IMPORTANT: If your child has no Roman/Eastern Rite Catholic baptismal 鈥媍ertificate, your child may be admitted if one parent can provide a Roman/Eastern Rite Catholic baptismal 鈥媍ertificate. Please refer to the 鈥�Board鈥檚 Operating Policy I-22 for more information. - Proof of address
Optional: Share Required Documents In-Person
Although we accept registrations at any time throughout the school year, we have set aside dates for parents to bring in their required documents to the school.
Parents and guardians who have NOT already uploaded their required documents in the online registration portal are encouraged to make an appointment to visit their school on January 24 or 25, 2023 to complete the registration process.
Please note:聽Children currently聽registered in the Year 1聽Kindergarten聽program are not required to聽register聽for the Year 2聽program. Placement in the Year 2聽program will be processed by the school, unless otherwise stated.
