The Thomas Merton Centre for Adult and Continuing Education provides adults (18 years of age and older) the opportunity to achieve secondary school credits to complete their high school diploma, upgrade marks, or earn prerequisite credits towards their post-secondary pathway.

Adult Day Credit Program

The Thomas Merton Centre offers high school credit courses throughout the school year in 6 modules. Each module lasts for 6 weeks enabling students to earn up to 2 credits.

Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition (PLAR) for Mature Students

Adults 18 and older may already have life experiences (education or employment related for example) that can be used for credit(s) toward their high school diploma through the Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition (PLAR) for mature students.
