Over the past two school years, HCDSB has offered a vibrant virtual learning environment for elementary students through St. Clare of Assisi Virtual Catholic Elementary School.
As part of Ministry of Education requirements, school boards must continue to offer a remote learning option for all students during the 2022-2023 school year.
As such, HCDSB will continue to operate St. Clare of Assisi Virtual Catholic Elementary Virtual School for students in Kindergarten to Grade 8, together with those awarded placements in our optional virtual programming for French Immersion (Grade 1 to 8) and Extended French Grade 5 to Grade 8 for the 2022-2023 school year.

- Birth Certificate
- Year 1 Kindergarten 鈥� children are required to be 4 years of age on or before December 31, 2022.
- Year 2 Kindergarten 鈥� children are required to be 5 years of age on or before December 31, 2022.鈥�
- Student OR Parent Roman or Eastern Rite Catholic baptismal certificate
IMPORTANT: If your child has no Roman/Eastern Rite Catholic baptismal 鈥媍ertificate, your child may be admitted if one parent can provide a Roman/Eastern Rite Catholic baptismal 鈥媍ertificate. Please refer to the 鈥�Board鈥檚 Operating Policy I-22 for more information. - Proof of address
