On May 3, 2022, HCDSB secondary students participated in the 2022 virtual Skills Ontario Competition!
The Skills Ontario Competition is the largest skilled trades and technologies event across Canada, offering students the opportunity to explore exciting career opportunities in skilled trades and technology. Students are also able to connect with industry leaders and participate in conferences featuring skills professionals.
This year, Skills Ontario offered competitions to HCDSB students in the following categories: architectural design, automative, carpentry, cabinet making, coding, graphic design, TV and video production, landscape design, outdoor power equipment, horticulture, photography and VEX5 robotics.
