On May 25, 2022, students in Grades 9-12 had the opportunity to participate in an Esports tournament with the Halton Catholic Athletic Association (HCAA)!
Esports, also known as electronic sports, are video games that take place in a competitive and supervised setting.
HCDSB students competed in different divisions in the hopes of defeating their opponents.
Similar to traditional organized sports, participating in esports supports students in developing their communication, social-emotional regulation, collaboration, problem-solving and critical thinking skills!
