On April 19th, 2022, launched their Prom Pop-up 鈥淪ale鈥� with repurposed formal wear for their school graduates!
The Prom Pop-up was created by the school鈥檚 Eco Club, giving graduates an opportunity to choose an environmentally conscious and financially friendly option for prom.
Leading up to the event, the Eco Club invited members of the community to donate their gently used formal wear for the cause. The call out was a huge success, receiving over 285 donations of dresses, suits, shirts, shoes, dress pants and accessories!
Student 鈥渟hoppers鈥� were also invited, but not required, to make a donation to St. Joseph鈥檚 Ukrainian Catholic Church鈥檚 humanitarian efforts to support Ukraine.
A big shoutout to the Loyola Eco Club for their organization of this amazing event! Thank you for giving our community a sustainable option for prom!
