Throughout April, HCDSB hosted a Special Education Assistive Technology Showcase to illustrate the benefits of Special Education Assistive Technology in our schools.
As part of the showcase, students and schools were invited to share their experiences using Assistive Technology equipment and the impact it has had on their learning. All student and school applications were considered for the 2022 IGNITE Technology Grant.
The Grant aims to support student leadership, communication skills and increased self-esteem for students through the use of SEA technology.
Congratulations to our amazing student winners, and thank you for demonstrating how you utilize SEA technology in our schools!
