Students in Ms. Fiesser鈥檚 Grade 1/2 class at have stayed busy this December 鈥榯ravelling the world鈥� and learning about holiday traditions in different cultures!
Throughout the month, Ms. Fiesser鈥檚 students learned about Indian, Filipino, Mexican, Jordanian, Palestinian, Chinese and Nigerian cultures and traditions. Students also learned about Diwali, Ramadan and the Lunar Festivals, and how they are celebrated differently in different countries.
Students danced, listened to different kinds of music, created beautiful ornaments and Christmas paintings all while touring the world through the experiences of various visitors and presenters in the classroom.
Thank you to Ms. Fiesser for putting together these amazing activities to grow our students鈥� knowledge about different holiday traditions, and kudos to her Grade 1 and 2 seasoned travellers!
