International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme Information Session

The International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme is a globally recognized programme that challenges students to excel in their studies and in their personal development. Students enrolled in the IB Programme study topics in greater depth, helping them develop the knowledge and the critical thinking skills necessary for success in post-secondary education and beyond.

in Oakville will host an IB Information Session on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at 6:30 p.m. All Grades 7 and 8 students and their parents interested in learning more about the IB Programme and application process are encouraged to attend.

in Milton is currently a candidate school for the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme, with the goal of becoming an IB World School by September 2026. During the candidacy phase, the school is offering a Grade 9 Pre-IB Programme to prepare students for the IB curriculum.

Families are invited to attend an information session at St. Kateri Tekakwitha CSS on Wednesday, November 5, at 6:30 p.m. to learn more about the Pre-IB Programme and its offerings.

Advanced Placement (AP) courses offer enhanced learning and university-level content to students in secondary school.

Grade 8 Information Evenings are intended to help the transition to secondary school for students entering Grade 9 in September 2026. At the Information Evenings scheduled this fall, parents and students can learn more about the various educational pathways available, leading to one of four destinations: Apprenticeship, College, University, or Work.
