Congratulations to Jaime Carrejola, a Year 2 Kindergarten student from with a big imagination and a love for dinosaurs!

Jaime was recently named the provincial winner in the Kindergarten (English) Nonfiction category of the , an annual competition hosted by the Ontario English Catholic Teachers’ Association (OECTA). Students across the province submit fiction, poetry, plays, and nonfiction to the competition, in both English and French.

His winning entry – an informative and creative report on prehistoric life – showcased not only his fascination with dinosaurs but also his early skills as a budding researcher and writer.

We are so proud of Jaime for this outstanding achievement and can’t wait to see where his curiosity and creativity take him next!
