- The event will include a school Liturgy, a blessing of the school site, as well as greetings from the board.
- The blessing of the school site will be officiated by The Very Reverend Monsignor Con O’Mahony, Vicar for Education and Pastor at St. Andrew Parish; assisted by Father Lawrence Parent, Pastor at St. Benedict Parish.

- In July 2020, The Ministry of Education  of the new Milton #3 Catholic Secondary School.
- The school can accommodate 1,611 secondary students and 75 classrooms.
