Key Dates at a Glance
The first day of school for HCDSB students is on Wednesday, September 3, 2025. As always, Kindergarten start dates will vary as entry into Kindergarten is a gradual process. 
The Professional Activity (P.A.) Days are as follows:
- September 2, 2025
- October 10, 2025 (Faith Day)
- November 28, 2025
- January 26, 2026 (elementary schools only)
- January 30, 2026 (secondary schools only)
- February 13, 2026
- April 24, 2026
- June 5, 2026 (elementary schools only)
- June 26, 2026 (secondary schools only)
