Quotes

“Since the official opening of the school in September, we continue to ensure that all students have access to the tools and resources they need to succeed and reach their full God-given potential…Best wishes to each of you as you continue to grow in faith and knowledge; pursuing excellence in Catholic education!”

– Marvin Duarte, Chair of the Board

“The blessing and dedication of a school is always a joyful occasion for our school district. And it has been a privilege to witness the development of this new school…I extend my gratitude to all members of the St. Josephine Bakhita Catholic school community for the invaluable contributions you continue to make in fostering this faith-filled learning environment.”

– John Klein, Director of Education

“The story of our patron saint, St. Josephine Bakhita should inspire each of us. She demonstrated tremendous courage throughout her life; never losing hope. St. Josephine found Christ in those who saved her, and in return, she devoted her life to bring Christ to others.

We must never lose our focus on ensuring that every member of our community feels that they belong and their value for who they are, created in God’s image. I am rather proud of what we have built together thus far. Let us all continue to follow Jesus, and St. Josephine Bakhita as our models in our Catholic school community.”

– Vince Chininea, Principal of St. Josephine Bakhita Catholic Elementary School
