Parents and members of the HCDSB community are invited to attend an Anti-Human Trafficking Awareness Presentation hosted by the Catholic Parent Involvement Committee (CPIC), in partnership with HCDSB. 

Anti-Human Trafficking Awareness Presentation

(1125 Kennedy Circle, in Milton)

NOTE:
 This awareness presentation is primarily parent-focused, however, children ages 12 and up may be accompanied by a parent or guardian. This session is not recommended for children under the age of 12. 

About the Presentation

An informative session will be presented by: 

  •  â€“ a non-profit agency that supports survivors of human trafficking and raises awareness in the Halton region through public education and training. 
  •  – an organization dedicated to empowering a movement of children and youth that focuses on children as agents of change. Cheryl Perera, Founder and President of OneChild, children’s rights activist and current Nobel Peace Prize candidate will be presenting.

The intent of this session is to educate parents about how we can all do our part to protect our families and loved ones, while keeping our school communities safe, and raising awareness within our community. 

This will be an in-person event only, and will not be recorded or posted online.
