The ÄÛÑ¿ÊÓƵ (HCDSB) is excited to announce that Kindergarten registration for the 2025-2026 school year is now open!
HCDSB offers a full-day, 2-year Kindergarten program, designed to engage curious early learners through various types of play that help children learn how to reason and problem-solve as they interact with one another.
Online Registration
HCDSB offers online Kindergarten registration, making registering your child for school as easy as 1, 2, 3!
What Do I Need to Register my Child?
Parents can upload the required documents directly through the online registration portal.
- Birth Certificate (required for Year 1 and Year 2)
- Year 1 children are required to be 4 years of age on or before December 31, 2025.
- Year 2 children (new to the school) are required to be 5 years of age on or before December 31, 2025.
- Student OR Parent Roman or Eastern Rite Catholic baptismal certificate
IMPORTANT: If your child has no Roman/Eastern Rite Catholic baptismal ​certificate, your child may be admitted if one parent can provide a Roman/Eastern Rite Catholic baptismal ​certificate. Please refer to the ​Board’s Operating Policy I-22 for more information. - Proof of address
Share Required Documents In-Person
Parents and guardians with older children already attending the school are able to upload the required documents through the online registration portal, or if they prefer, may choose to bring in their required documents to the school.
NOTE: For families new to the school, in-person proof of parent/guardian identification is mandatory.
While we welcome registrations at any time throughout the school year, the following dates have been set aside for parents to bring in their required documents to the school, and to provide proof of parent/guardian identification:
- Tuesday, January 21, 2025
- Wednesday, January 22, 2025
If neither of these two dates work for you, please contact your child’s school to make an appointment for another day to share your documentation and complete your registration in-person.
