On Thursday, October 24, 2024, staff, trustees, honourable guests and members of the 嫩芽视频 (HCDSB) community gathered for the Blessing and Groundbreaking Ceremony for .

The celebration included greetings from the board and a ceremonious breaking of ground. A blessing of the school site was officiated by Reverend Lawrence Parent, Pastor at St. Benedict Parish in Milton, along with an Honouring of the Land presented by Emma Murphy, Milton Trustee and Master of Ceremonies.

Special thanks to Billy Pang, Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Education; Zee Hamid, MPP for Milton; as well as representatives from their offices for attending the ceremony!
