On Thursday, October 24, 2024, staff, trustees, honourable guests and members of the ÄÛÑ¿ÊÓÆµ (HCDSB) community gathered for the Blessing and Groundbreaking Ceremony for .
The celebration included greetings from the board and a ceremonious breaking of ground. A blessing of the school site was officiated by Reverend Lawrence Parent, Pastor at St. Benedict Parish in Milton, along with an Honouring of the Land presented by Emma Murphy, Milton Trustee and Master of Ceremonies.
Special thanks to Billy Pang, Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Education; Zee Hamid, MPP for Milton; as well as representatives from their offices for attending the ceremony!

- ​In May 2022, the Ministry of Education for the new Milton #11 Catholic Elementary School through the Ministry’s 2021-22 Capital Priorities Program.
- Once complete, the school will accommodate 763 elementary pupil spaces in a three-storey building, and include a 5 room Child Care Centre.

When complete, the Milton #11 Catholic Elementary School project at this site will have space for 763 students and will create new licensed Child Care spaces across 5 Child Care rooms.
