The ÄÛÑ¿ÊÓƵ (HCDSB) is excited to announce the dates for our upcoming Kindergarten Open Houses.

The Open Houses will be offered to families with children starting Kindergarten in September, 2025. 

Open House Details 

These sessions will provide parents with an opportunity to:

  • Learn about the unique play and inquiry-based Kindergarten program offered at HCDSB;
  • Tour our vibrant Kindergarten classrooms;
  • Meet dedicated HCDSB staff and representatives from our Before & After School programs;
  • Connect with fellow parents and community partners!

Future Kindergarten students and their families are welcome to attend any of the following Kindergarten Open Houses: 

OAKVILLE 

Thursday, October 17th
6:30 – 7:30 PM 

St. Andrew C.E.S.

MILTON

NOTE: The full-day Kindergarten program is offered at all HCDSB elementary schools. The Open House dates listed above are intended as general information sessions for all elementary families, offered regionally.

About the Kindergarten Program at HCDSB 

Our HCDSB schools offer a full-day, 2-year Kindergarten program, to engage curious early learners through all types of play; helping children learn how to reason and problem-solve as they interact with one another.

Kindergarten Program Details:

Year 1 Kindergarten – September 2025 Start Date: Children must be 4 years of age on or before December 31, 2025. 
Year 2 Kindergarten – September 2025 Start Date: Children must be 5 years of age on or before December 31, 2025.Â
