Ciara Costa’s Gold Medal and Record-Breaking Run
Ciara Costa, a Grade 10 student at St. Thomas Aquinas CES won the gold medal in the 300m Hurdles at The Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations (OFSAA) Championships in London, Ontario. She broke the 25 year old record previously set by Olympian Jessica Zelinka (in 1997), who presented the award to Ciara.

Life Skills Program Students Win Silver at Special Olympics Bocce Ball Tournament
A group of five Life skills program students won a silver medal at the Special Olympics Bocce Ball Tournament in Chatham. The athletes from the winning team are Mitchell Newton, Spencer Morgan, Ahmed Tartousya, Matthew Gilmore and Ethan Luk.
