On February 9 and 10, 2024, the Distributive Education Clubs of America (DECA) Teams from , , and competed alongside 6200 Ontario secondary students at the DECA Provincials Competition in Toronto. 

 is a not-for-profit student organization with more than 177,000 members around the globe. DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for their future careers.

At the competition, students from grades 9 -12 showcased their exceptional business and critical thinking skills as they competed in judged case study events focused on entrepreneurship, marketing, finance, law, hospitality, and management. 

After successful days of competition and fellowship 12 students from Bishop Reding, 6 students from the St. Francis Xavier and 2 students from Christ the King’s DECA teams received medals for winning in their respective events.

Congratulations to Max Underhill, Ella Wilson, Rida Kidwai, Inaya Faraz, Khadija Khan and Sophia Philbert from St. Francis Xavier CSS; Chloe Yang from Bishop Reding and Alessandra Scorcia and Alexandria Thompson from Christ the King CSS for their achievement at DECA Provincials!

Amongst these winners are Chloe Yang, Sophia Philbert, Alessandra Scorcia and Alexandria Thompson who have qualified to compete at the (ICDC) in Anaheim, California at the end of April 2024.
