Starting on Monday, January 15, 2024, 嫩芽视频鈥檚 (HCDSB) Year 2 kindergarten students can sign up online for the Grade 1 French Immersion program for the 2024-2025 school year.
The French Immersion program is an exciting, fast-paced, optional French program. Students must be entering Grade 1 in September, in order to be eligible to participate in the Board鈥檚 French Immersion program.

The optional French Immersion program has expanded across HCDSB so space in the program is no longer determined through a random selection (lottery) process.
The program is offered regionally, and school sites may change from time to time based on student enrolment and other considerations. View the designated schools for聽the聽French Immersion program鈥嬧�� during the 2024-2025 school year.
How to Register
Parents and guardians can register for the program through an online registration portal, which will be available from Monday, January 15, 2024, and will be open until Thursday, February 29, 2024.
A direct link to online registration will be available on the French Immersion page, and can also be accessed on the homepage of the Board’s website (www.hcdsb.org) beginning on January 15th and during this time period.
