Background
In June 2023, St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Secondary School was approved as a candidate school for the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme!
This means that St. Kateri Tekakwitha school is now pursuing authorization as an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School.
As St. Kateri Tekakwitha CSS works toward becoming an IB World School, during the candidacy phase, the school will be offering a Grade 9 Pre-IB Programme beginning in September 2024.
The Pre-IB Programme was developed to assist students in their preparation for the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme.

Grade 7-8 students and families interested in learning more about the Grade 9 Pre-IB Programme are encouraged to attend the St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Secondary School Pre-IB Programme Information Night.
