Beginning in 2024, the 嫩芽视频 (HCDSB) will offer a鈥疭TEAM Program鈥痑t鈥痠n Milton.鈥�
STEAM education is an approach to learning that interconnects multiple subject areas: Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics to guide student inquiry, collaboration, and design process and critical thinking.鈥�
鈥淭his specialized and innovative program will run in a year-long blended delivery format by STEAM educators enabling collaboration between courses. This will allow more flexibility to students and empower them to carve their own learning process for a successful future,鈥� said Adriano Perusin, School Principal at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Secondary School.聽
The STEAM program incorporates the鈥�痑nd the鈥�� as a framework to guide the programming.聽
Upcoming Information Session聽
Parents and students of Grade 8 students who are interested in learning more about St Francis Xavier鈥檚 family of schools STEAM Program and the application process are encouraged to attend the in-person session offered at the school on November 9th.

Although STEAM will be offered only to Grade 9 students next school year, plans are currently in place to offer the STEAM interdisciplinary program in other secondary grades in the future.鈥�
