翱苍听Friday, June 2nd, St. Ignatius of Loyola Catholic Secondary School will host a Job Launch Recognition Event in Support of Life Skills Students!
Through the support of the Ontario Trillium Foundation, Job Launch is Community Living Oakville‘s pre-employment program, offered to youth ages 16-21 who identify as having a developmental disability.
On June 2nd, the HCDSB community, honourable guests and representatives from Community Living Oakville will gather to celebrate this pre-employment program. The event will highlight the positive impacts the program has made to many of our HCDSB students who face barriers to employment.

ABOUT JOB LAUNCH
The Job Launch pre-employment program helps students develop the necessary skills and tools to become employment ready by receiving assistance with their application process, interview preparation and employment training.
The program incorporates a wide range of educational modules including job readiness, first impressions, health and safety, job boards, resume writing and interview preparation. These modules are tailored to various learning styles, resulting in personalized success for each student to become more independent and gain the ability to participate in inclusive work environments.
